  4. I read recently that early automotive drivers wore goggles not because of rocks, wind, rain,grit... But because of horse **** ... All roads were covered with it by product of the main form of transportation until the 20's

    Really? Perhaps that's why those long coats were used? Like the cowboys wear in foul weather? I'm surprised those guys didn't invent the full face helmet back then. Who want's to get roosted with that ****?!?!?! Gary

    Go to accessories then apparel. Good qaulity real leather. $1 NZ dollar is about.$.69 US so they will be even cheaper for you.

  7. You might look to J&P Cycle - they show some in the catalog. I've seen several types out there some look new plastic and others look vintage... WWW.jpcycles.com.
    I keep a pair hanging on our roadster dash for fun.

    I drive vintage oval track cars and I use these two styles with an Impact Velocity open face helmet.......... very vintage!
