Well I got my Buick last, now at long last I have something HAMB worthy it has the 401 c.i. Nailhead 445 Wildcat engine and Dynaflow trans, has original paint except a repaint on the roof,42,400 original miles.Yell I know it's a 4 door but with these body lines who cares.I'm hoping to get it detailed under the hood, drop it slightly,Astro Supremes with Wide White radials,AC unit and maybe some Bellflower tips and do some driving.
Very cool ride ! Check-out the pic of my '61 (The INVICTA) posted below. '61's are very nice riding cars. Mine has hydraulics and is a very nice road machine. (Nice road machine ? That's where these cars excell: Doin' 70 on the Interstate for a few hundered miles at a time !) Tires/Wheels ? For comparison: The INVICTA needs Wide Whites to match-up with the Roadster Wires and Candy Apple paint, but with the Electra body style, skinny's & Astros would work out just super fine. (The original caps on there are cool too, don't rule out using them for awhile.) Best of luck with it ! Once you get it on the road you'll LOVE it !! JK
I like it. I like the whitewalls that are on it, and the other stuff sounds like a good plan. My Olds has basically the same identical roof line.
