MAKE YOUR PLANS NOW TO ATTEND ONE OF THE MOST FUN CAR SHOWS IN THE SOUTH. THE NORTH GEORGIA HOT RODS AND PARADISE DRAG STRIP ARE HAVING A "INDEPENDENCE DAY SHOW & GO" NOSTALGIA DRAG MEET, CAR SHOW & SWAP MEET, JULY 3rd 2010.

ALL OF YOU H.A.M.B. MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN TO ONE OF THE SPRING OR FALL SHOW & GO'S IN THE PAST, KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT WHEN I SAY IT'S THE MOST FUN YOU CAN HAVE AT A ONE DAY CAR SHOW. IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN, YOU WILL SEE OL SKOOL 60'S GASSERS, FED DRAGSTERS AND SOME OF THE KOOLEST HOT RODS AROUND, RUNNING ON THE "SINCE 61" HISTORICAL PARADISE DRAG STRIP, OR MAYBE YOU WILL LIKE THE HUGE SWAP MEET OR LOOKING AT ALL THE KOOL RIDES.

NEW FOR THIS EVENT, WE ARE HAVING A NOSTALGIA TROPHY RACE, PRE 73 DOOR CARS, FRONT ENGINE DRAGSTERS AND ALTERDS, FLAT HEAD AND INLINES. THE SHOW AND TRACK IS OPEN FOR NEWER CARS TO RUN TIME ONLY RUNS, ONLY THE RACE WILL BE PRE 73.

IT'S A REAL BLAST FROM THE PAST, JUST LIKE LATE 60'S EARLY 70'S. THEIR IS SOMETHING AT PARADISE FOR EVERYONE, YOUNG & OLD.

PARADISE DRAG STRIP, 500 CHATSWORTH HWY. CALHOUN, GA. 30701

I just got my car back out of the shop late yesterday and just couldn't get everything sorted out in time. Anyone take any pictures?

I took two or three....give me a bit to sort em out...

I left Calhoun and went back to LaFayette. My buddy had to pick up a deposit on a pickup he sold. We left there and went to Cedar Bluff Alabama to catch the tail end of another show. From there we went to a Cruise in Cartersville...I'm tuckered out!

I've been looking for a banana seat bike....the seller thought more of this one then I did though...

This was probably the best deal I saw...Short fleet, runs drives...with title.

Sold for $500 less then 5 min after the trailer it was on stopped rolling.

Had to shag back to Lafayette so my bud could show a kid a pickup he had for sale so I missed the rest of the track action.

Caught these last two on the way out.

Yeah, it looks like a different car. Right? I can never figure out who is who. I guess we all need to start wearing Hamb shirts or something.

I wasn't wearing any HAMB gear...but I was rockin an old Trosley CARtoons iron-on though! lol! Got asked about it more then once...nobody accused me of being a hamber though.

I was spotted in Gadsden on Friday night. B.A.king introduced himself while I was shootin a couple snaps. Told me with the way I was gettin down on the ground with the lens I looked guilty of being Aceuh from the HAMB....guilty as charged!

  22. Sweet pics! Looks like a good turn out. Sorry I couldn't make it this time.
