Ford teardrop hood scoop on a Nova?

but then I found this .Looks like there is a precident for the tear drop scoop.

 

That looks more like a home made cowl induction scoop to me ,,but it is shaped kinda "Tear Drop" shape,,the top edges are pretty square instead of rounded off ,,

 

Now that's what I'm talkin' about. The question is should I go with Speedway for 68 dollars or step up to JC Whitney and get the real thing for 78.00

I still have a 57 vette hood that has a teardrop on it. I think they look cool. Id do it.
