Has any one used the "Steer Clear"?

    I have backed my self into a corner where the most obvious solution would be this product. Costly yess, but it would sure simplify things.
    Has any one had any experience with this product?

    I have used them in the shop. With short steering columns mounted at a more horizontal position, they provide clearance for the brake pedal. With the unit mounted diaginaly to the outboard , the steering shaft can clear the engine & exhaust. We mount them inside the firewall, but they can be mounted on the engine side. Paul

    I considered one in my current project but decided against them because beside being exspensive they are pretty bulky.
