I found this pic on the internet and want to have my seats redone like them. About how much could i expect to pay? i dont know the materials but im on a budget so lets talk cheap and durable.
I can ***ure you that a nice job with a durable material in two-tone would run you at least $2500, that is for seats and door panels.
bobwop is right on target. To do it right the first time, ya gotta save up a bit and make sure your upholsterer is on the same page. A number of Olds spe******ts carry interiors for your model, and SMS Interiors in Oregon,is a**** the best for getting what you need. AND, don't forget you'll have to add in the headliner & carpeting. If you want to see how good an SMS Interior can make your ride look, check-out the pix of my '57 Dodge D-500 below. It was SMS material that was used, and they look & feel great. (While your at it, save up a few extra bucks to do some "liner" work in the trunk that may match the carpeting in the interior. That adds a cl***y look to the already Cl***y Olds, and shows that you went that "little bit extra" to combine all of the fabric elements of your ride.) Good luck ! The '55-'56 Olds is one of my faves ! Jonnie King www.thewwbc.net
I have already got the door panels done. So are we still talkin about 2000 bucks or more just for the seats.
Dont knoe if it helps, but saw these people getting some good rep on another forum, they do cover sets for chevys, don't know if they could help with the olds.. http://www.ciadellainteriors.com/index.html
