Like the ***le says, happy Fourth of July to all our neighbours to the south. Don't drink too much beer, eh.
Keeping Canada safe since 1776... Thanks to the gang up north, the blood shed shared in war and peace.
Ken1939, some of that blood was shed between us , in the war of 1812. Course, we weren't a country then, but a possession of Great Britain. Interesting to note that a gang from Halifax sailed south and burned down the White House. Sorry about that, hope y'all collected on the insurance Glad you're not mad at us any more
Thanks, I have a lot of Canadian relatives and friends, and BTW, the first country to the South of me is Canada.
Yup... we did that on July 1st. You see... we celebrate on the 1st and then help YOU celebrate on the 4th. A two-for-one deal for us.
Benedict Arnold "had the chance" should we say, to capture Quebec...Think how the map would look today had he done it? On the other hand, we wouldnt have eggs benedict.
Glad we didn't as Quebec has been a Pain in the *** to Canada for a long long time and they want to separate and call their debt even. The debt that Canada has is mostly from Quebec. I visited Quebec a couple years ago, the old part. Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.
Could have made the trip to the east coast shorter for us if you took Quebec away though! Happy 4th , I'm coming to help celebrate it tomorrow!
And we wouldn't have Poutine! LoL I drove past the George Street Bar district today and I think there was still some people celebrating Canada day! Then again...maybe it was some of those crazy *** "Merican tourists" we get up here. Hmmmm.... I know one thing: SOMEBODY was having a blast on the fourth, and good for them! LoL All the best you guys and gals.
Well.. thanks. We think so, most of the time. Most folks who visit say it's nice. Unless you want big-city rush. We don't have that. But if you like sea-scapes, farm land and good beer, wine and fresh seafood, we have that.
