The guy with the 32 three window is Pat , hell of a nice guy, I met him at El Mirage once, He is an airplane mecanic, and use to restore the vintage world war II bomers,Him and the original owner of the car , a world war II vet , built the car when he was a kid. What a kool guy, he won a $300,00dlls purse for best of show, and donated it back to the Mayor of Pomona , for the kid charity. Vic , Kevin , and all the Shifters did a wonderful job, They definitly got the midus touch, this show has great potential, the designated area for the show was packed, and kept growing as the evening wore on . The good news is there is a large area adjac'ent to the show that Vic's brother and the Mayor said they could use for next year. This is the best part, it is surrounded by these cool old historical buildings and there is even a *****'en old movie theator , if you walked arround a bit , they are a bunch of antique stores, shops and tons of stuff to look at. This is perfect for the wives, because if they get tired of the show , they can walk arround and go shopping, kind of like Paso, One of my fellow club member's chick even got her hair done. Thanks to all the Shifters, I had a great time, and sorry I missed the after party at Vic's house. Can't wait for next years show.

On behalf of all the Shifters, we just wanted to say thanks to Bad Bob and to everyone who attended the show! We really didn't know what to expect but it was definitely a success and we were able to raise some good money for Pomona's youth recreation programs! The Mayor and the downtown business ***ociation were all very pleased with the show and the money raised so it looks like were on again for next year! This is a great location and there is plenty of room to expand when the show gets bigger. Thanks again everyone!

Bad Bob sorry we missed you. I got to do a whirlwind trip thru while Wifey and her friend sat in the car in the sun 2 blocks away. Friend's hubby isn't a traditional car guy. He thought the AD with the scalloped paint job was obscene. 2700 mile trip and all I have to show for it are a few pix. Thanks for posting yours. There must have been quite a few late arrivals. I didn't get to see several of the ones you posted.
