This is what 25 grand buys in Los Angeles

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Deuce Roadster, Jun 28, 2010.

  1. I know this guy that paid around $200 for a 25-vent hood a few years ago.

Most everybody said he was crazy and paid too much!

Heck buy it ... then put it on E-bay and use the words rare, vintage, patina and rat in the description and double your money

This isn't an example of the swap meet at the roadster show. This "car" was for sale in the So Cal booth. Enuf said.

I do agree the price is way out of whack, but as far as the car being toast, far from it.

I always come into these posts with a sellers viewpoint. If I drug that car home from somewhere I'd be asking the same amount. who gives a **** if someone found a better one for less? not me that's for sure. what is there would be easily repaired by anyone with a bit of skill. believe it or not, they don't make original 32 3 windows anymore, also the dude is obviously in So Cal, which is the Hot Rod Capitol of the world, so a price back east is irrellevant.
