Global hot rod events in August

Besides in the US and Australia what is happening in your country in August event wise? I have 3 weeks off and pretty much an open ticket to go anywhere from my base in China. Maybe an event will help me sway my thinking on a destination.

Stovebolt I lived in the US for 3 years and wand want to expand my horizons. Sadly the Hayride is one weekend too early. Thanks for the post though.

 

More to the point, how could you go past Flathead and Flames' company in the middle of the desert....
