Saved this one from the crusher

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fordnut forever, Jun 25, 2010.

  1. i'm not really a mopar fan but saw this 51 concord business coupe on a auction, knew the top bidder and he just buys them and hits the salvage yards with them and couldn't see them big jaws grabbing it off his trailer,he got a packard, nova and 50 ford 4 dr, not sure when i'll work on it but put it in the project line for now, saving one car at a time money permitting http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk117/randysfords/chebar174-05-1.jpg

It'll need the camber adjusted, but nice save anyway.

  16. finally got it to the shop and took out seat and cleaned it up inside, few critters lived in it over the years,PO said he stopped driving it in 89 and it ran good so now to try and get it running, put new plugs in it and gotta get battery and wires since the critters chewed them up,was suprised the trunk was not ate up by rust but it does need some repair, hope to get it running and then onto the brakes, has new shoes so thats a plus, one question tho, i thought it was a p22 but the numbers on motor says p23,can anyone figure that out for me? I look at that and think mild custom, chop the roof and/or make a disappearing hardtop like a pre-war Peugeot Decapotable.
