T5 tranny conversion 1st gen stovebolt

I put two of these t-5 trannys into old cars. One into my 57 chev pickup with a 350 chev motor and got all the in's and out's on the Old Stovebolt.com site. THey had like about 6 different projects with the t-5 into old chevy sixes. Give them a try. Some were making the aluminum adapters like was discussed here. Very informative site. these are really old posts.. I built the adapter months ago.. found lots of info on putting the t5 behind 235s and 216's but my 32 bell housing is way different... never did find anything on stuff this old. anyway, its a done deal. its in the truck and working well.
