I know the 50 bucks I put down for the alliance wiped my FNG status out, but the bottom line is I'm still very new to this place. Still, I was instantly hooked, and every positive thing I have heard about the HAMB is true. I'm sure most of us are strapped financially. I'm on the job hunt and finally finished rebuilding the front suspension on my 52 when the right side rear leaf main spring splits. Now I'm screwed again, so I decide to place a want add on here for a new set of springs... Within 3 minutes I got a response from Danny (candy53) and he had 'em. Tells me they're mine if I drive to go get 'em, which is 80 miles away. I can barely afford the gas, but I can't afford to buy springs. Later that night he tells me he will be p***ing through my area, and he would be more than happy to bring the springs, and a new set of shackles and bushings. I got the springs, Danny got a case of Budweiser, and the 52 was back on the road tonight. This place is the best...
Now that is some serious HAMB support........mighty nice of you Danny. There should be more people in this world like Danny, very cool.

The HAMB has more than its fair share of good people. Hell - I've given for free and I've got for free, and then here's the advice!!!! Mateship is why we keep coming back Good luck with the job hunt. Glad you're back on the road.
