Anybody done a leaf spring conversion on 55 Buick?

Would like to see pics of somebody who has done a leaf spring conversion on a '55 Buick. Please no comments or questions as so why ... etc., etc. I know there are those who have done it. Would like to see if possible.

havent done leaf, I went coil and ladder bars.

however, my 55 special has a nearly identical frame to the smaller olds 88 of the same year. The olds is a leaf spring car. Should be able to get front and rear hangers, shackles etc for an olds and have a fairly easy swap.

 

55 Olds had springs? Hmmmm... interesting.

 

Yup, atleast on the small body cars- ie: 88s. Not sure when they went to coils, I would guess 58 with the all new x frame cars?

 

all 55 olds had leaf springs, regardless of model, 56 too and maybe 57s..
