    Im getting tired of waiting around for a f1 steering box so whos using a leter steering box and how does it perform....im building a av8 right now and am down to just finding a way to steer the thing

    I've got a 48' in mine. used the whole front end from a 48' sedan, works fine.

    Look up EZ Steer, there in Ohio and make a Model A (bolt in) box with all the good stuff inside. 330-468-3027. I'm waiting for one to install in a 30 Roadster. The owner is 80 and tired of lots of play and hard steering. Iceman

    wow the ez steer is $800 bucks ill wait for another route before i PONY THAT MONEY UP

    800 more reasons not to be a 1-800 builder :)

    anyways, try to find a real good unworn box. No sense starting with a worn out box.

    I will be finishing mine tomorrow I think. I had a mint low mile early 50s Ross box from a vw van. I ended up flipping it 90 degrees to make it cross steer to the right front arm. so far it looks good, and it looks old...because it is..:)
