    hey guys,
i'm new to the HAMB so i'm still trying to figure it out. i also use a buick web board but ther guys that are on there don't really offer me much advice on this. my question is how can i put my buick on the ground? i would like to air bag it but i was told that it probably couldn't be done without major mods to the driveline etc. any help would be greatly appreciated...........cheers

Yeah, it can be done with bags. Torque tube might cause some problems if you are using the original drivetrain. Wishbone off the torque tube and the original rear shocks might limit drop.
I used bags in front replacing the coils, relocated the shocks, but I've seen a Buick with Shockwaves in the front and eliminated the shock problem altogether.
I'm just in the process of switching my rear bags from Firestone 2500 to Fireston 9000's. From all I've been told it should make for a smoother ride with less bounce.

I used a crate engine and a modern trans., but adapted the original rear end to an open driveshaft.
    PM me for details.

    Good luck
