Been lurking in the shadows as a guest for quite awhile on this forum. Finally decided to join. Been working on and building cars since I could remember. Mostly muscle car stuff. Went to the lonstar roundup here in Austin 4 or 5 years ago and was HOOKED!!!!! Something about the history and nostalgia of early hot rods. 3 months later had my first hotrod project. Figured I would start slow. Picked up someone elses project that they had to let go. Still needed quite a bit though. Electrical, brakes, motor to run, floor, gastank, fuel lines, driveshaft, lights, guages and so on. You know, all that little stuff that makes it fun. Worked on it for six months and had it ready to go the the lonestar round up the following year. Had a blast!!!!!!!! Anyway, just thought I take a sec and introduce myself and look forward to meetin some new peps on here and learn as much as I can. Ricky Any of you guys here in Houston?
Welcome from Illinois. Very nice looking car. I am sure with the HAMB's help you will have your flathead running good in no time. Rich
Yeah, the 69 SuperBee, 340 ******* and GT were fun to drive as well as the Camaros and Firebirds. But nothing beats a cool unique rod like yours................. Welcome aboard from Maryland!
Cool car. Houston is my birthplace and lived there for a long time. Too bad Prince's drive-in went the way of the Dodo. Roundup is cool, but so is Pistons and Paint. Check it out some time. Oh yeah, don't forget Day of the Drags. Cya around.
