Couldn't resist snapping some shots of the latest car in the stable. My dad just came out to visit from Kansas City and brought a blast from the past with him...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
I have one of those in the shed as well. Guess now thats its a hamb thing , i will need to get mine out and going..................
Aw shucks, I thought this post was about me. Very cool cars. I have a vague recollection of one of those when I was a kid, someone in the neighbourhood had something similar.
Back in the early '80's I worked at a shop in Independence, Mo. and we made frames and other parts for these cars. They also sold a neat Deuce Roadster and an Indy car. One day they brought over a Deuce Roadster and we ripped around in the shop, it would squeal the tires on the smooth concrete floor. The motor if I remember right was an 8 HP Briggs that they put a governor on to keep it from going too fast. Without the governor they said it would do about 40 mph.
Once again, too cool for school... and that's what your kids will be! A V-twin in that thing should fit. Right? HEY, I recognize that sidewalk Mr W.
Ok this is unbelievably awesome I want one to customize wonder how difficult it is to track these down
My father worked at Yarnell Ice Cream Company in Searcy, Ark. In the 60's, Yarnell's had a contest to give away a "Tin Lizzie" that looked a whole lot like one of these. Customers filled out a post card and mailed it in. A drawing was held, and if memory serves me correctly, they gave away 2 of them. Never knew what happened to them. As the son of an employee, I couldnt enter, but since I was a stamp collector as a kid, I got the next best thing---all of the post cards sent in to get the stamps. I wonder if this one is the same kind???
They had a whole fleet of those Little T's at Riverside Amu*****t in Agawam M***. I remember riding on them as a kid. Riverside eventually was converted to a Six Flags. Not sure if they're still in service or not.
SWEEEEEEEEEET! I always wanted one when I was a kid. That brings back memories of every parade I went to when I was young. A local guy had one that was made into a wrecker to haul other go karts.
Car shows might be less boring if you brought the kids and let them tool this around. They could get little lawn chairs and tiny coolers and some little bad kid dolls and...hmmm. yeah I guess the park sounds nice.
That's a sweet lil' ride, you will...wait I mean your kids will love playing with it, brings back memories of my childhood when I had a yellow full-fendered '32 roadster go-kart with mini mag wheels.
I had a lil Red one when I was like 8...geez my dad brought it home one day and it was used then. Hell thats like 35 years ago... We had this huge like figure 8 driveway and that litle 5 hp briggs and stratton hauled *** when I was 8!! It had two forward gears and a reverse, and the thottle was just like a model A ...damn that thing was fun as hell.
"To be honest, these days I’d rather tool around a park with my kids in the little T than take my own Model A to some boring car show." Me too, like good Bourbon we must be gettin' old and mellow. Cool car.
I wanted one of those when I was a kid,but my folks got me a Honda Z50 instead. Now I feel cheated once again.
Nice! That pic reminded me of the artwork I just did for "The Little Car Show" in Pacific Grove coming up... -Juan
My uncle had one of those a few years back. He always wanted me to buy it for my kids and I never pulled the trigger. Too cool!
