Here we go again - I lengthened the nose a couple of inches, and sectioned the cowl too, which really improves it IMHO. And fixed the cove too. It´s all pretty subtle stuff, but makes a big difference. Are the headlights still too big for you?

thanks again james for all your remarkable work..
i went and studied/worked on the car over the weekend,,,
instead of sectioning more out of the cowl, i actually raised the fins and deck area three inches, which yields virtually the same effect as sectioning the cowl,,by doing this and welding my inner wheel housings back on, i've gained another 3-4 inches of lowering capability :D:cool::D.........

i think i've decided to use the reshaped cove idea,,,,it just flows a little better with the overall lines of the car

and i've decided against doing the BAT9 style headlights..
i really think it would be difficult to pull it off without making the nose curve down too severely,,and in the end, i actually like the hooded headlights i already have better,,they just work better on this particular car,,,

    photos to follow soon,,,

I´m actually really happy to hear you raised the rear. It´s a better solution all around - brings back some balance. And those headlights would have been a hell of a lot of work!

I think I am beginning to see why Harly Earl introduced clay into the automotive stylist's design room. It has been amazing to watch this vehicle morph into so many fleeting forms. Honestly, the final destination may be a let down only in comparison the the fun of the journey (and of course that's not by any means a put down to the freaking amazing car that manifests from this). Hope to see it in person (in any state of finish).
