I'm looking for the shifters sold in the 60's and 70's that were used on the Ford 3 speed trannies in cars (with the side loader transmissions). I at one time had the "Mystery Shifter" and the "Synchro Lok" shifters in my late 50's Fords. Anyone know what the part numbers were? Looking for one of each. Thanks!

I purchased a Hurst Mastershift 3 on E-Bay a month or so ago. It came with the shifter body, stick, and shift rods and linkages. If you take a look at my site, you'll see images of the adapter bracket that I fabbed. I have installed the shifter (sorry, no images of the install yet), and it works great. Take a look at my site for images. I can make you one of these brackets up if you have a 1949 Ford 3 Speed Trans. P.M. me if I can help out. VR&C.
