My question deals with the front A arm suspension of a funnycar chassis. What is the size of tubing used in the fabrication of A arms front suspension in a funnycar chassis?

Actually SFI could care less about what holds the car off the ground. All that the SFI specs cover is the construction of the part of the chassis that surrounds the driver (and a few other sections in the case of Top Fuel).
Most floppers that I have had anything to do with use 1.125" or 1.25" for the upper leg and .875" for the lower (double) section.
