Car looks just right. Can you direct me to the build pics? Is the body an original or reproduction (does really matter just wondering)?

  7. One of the nicest '32 roadsters I've ever seen - it really has the look. I'd love some more details on this one.

Hi all, Thanks for all the nice words! One goal with this build was to try to nail in my mind the perfect stands. Being my first build it was a lot of trial and error on its way thru it! My influences has been of co**** the Rolling Bones cars, and Doane Spencers.
Basic set up: Rolling Bones theme: pinched frame rails, spring behind axle, no drop axel, split bones, low headlights, QC, cut horns, Cowl steering, flattie with a T5. And I also wanted to use 36 bones for the look.

It would be impossible to do this build without the opportunities to ask all the smart people for help and guidelines, and I would therefore like to thank the following guys:
HAMBers! - I have a computer in the garage (everyone should!) and if you have some questions, just throw it on the forum, and you normally get an answer direct!
Ken & Keith at Rollling Bones – I first thought that these guys would probably like to keep their secrets for them self, not so! Always answers my email with questions regarding measurements, part numbers and so on.
Erik at Scandinavian Street rod-Part supplier
Matt at Ionia Hot Rod shop- Part supplier
    Fritte – Forwarder<O:p</O:p
Niklas, Mike – letting out parts<O:p</O:p
My job – <ST1:p</ST1:pto use machines and workshop<O:p</O:p
Family – Support & helping hands

    <O:p</O:pUps & <ST1:pDowns </ST1:pduring build up:
Not 100% satisfied with the “sharp” pinch on the front rails, could maybe been done with a bigger arc. 36 bones gave me some headache! I now understand why they are not used that often; it’s a serious clearance issue with the frame rail when you want get low! However I wanted them for the look and ended up with some frame modification for clearance, and also the need for a panhard bar to keep axle in place. Some issues also before getting front cross member in place, where & in what angle? Ended up with a spring that is set at 0 degrees. +100s of small issues

Spec:32 frame,32 roadster body. Rear, 36 bones, 36 bells, 40 brakes, Winters QC, Model T spring. Front, 32 axle, 34 bones, 40 brakes, Posies spring. Engine, Flathead 59AB. Tires, Firestone 4,50-16, 750-16

A new pic with windshield, hub caps (I,m not sure if I prefer this look or the more race one before!?)

Only thing left to change is the odometer reading, often and in large numbers. This has got to be one of the best deuces shown on the HAMB in some time. Nothing basically groundbreaking just a perfect combination of the best traditional elements that will always be in style. Anyone would be rightfully proud to have this one parked in their garage. Actually, it should spend a minimum time parked...............only to gas up.:D

do you have any pictures from the build? i would really like to see some of the roller.

i like the picture without the windsheild, and couldnt help from think a belly pan on the rear and a canopy over the pasenger side would look just top shelf!!

If you had left the caps and windscreen off I would have told you to stripe a couple numbers on the doors.

    Nevertheless, Beautiful car!!

Enjoy it as much as you can!

    VIVA LA DEUCE......

For what it's worth, I like the 2nd version with the blister painted etc. Understated and mean!
