I really like the idea of showing all the great ideas that racing brought to the rodding folks. A while back, I found online at youtube, I think it was that they paired a GT 40 with a stock 1600 Formula Ford. On a road course, the little formula won every time. But could not beat the heavy 40 in the drags. One must remember that these cars were developed many years ago in the 60s. I hope the new project takes off well. So many people helped develop the need for speed and advancement in all catagories. Good Luck!
Ryan, You mean I can now send you some pictures of my Non H.A.M.B friendly car collection ?? Cool !!! >>>>.
Hey Ryan, do you ever sleep? Thanks to you and Joyo for another great way to feed the auto addiction! Cat
Firefox has it built in. I registered but under a different handle that I use on a couple of other boards.
I dig it! I really love the trad. stuff here but seeing that ww of sports video from 70... hats off man! there is life on the other side of traditional st. way to go guys!
Ryan, you never seem to fail at kicking gear heads in the face. That's a great site. True hipo porn in some of those!! The Ferrari in Paris was the 1st one I looked at (I was there for 2 weeks in the 70s) and it set the tone for me. I really liked the road test on the GT40 too. One of my all time favorite cars and in my view launched at the peak of traditional hotrod thinking. One of the 3 designers who developed that car is a personal friend of mine. Again hats off to you guys. Another hit. If we ever meet the 1st few rounds are on me.
Every time I try to go there, it starts to load the page and then it locks up my PC??? Must be my computer.......
Love the idea. I've always thought performance vehicles should also stop and turn, too, beside just winning stop light drags, looking good or making fabulous noises. But this new deal must might be "One forum over the line" for me. I can barely keep up with even the best of the sites I'm following that cover all my rerspective interests. But I think I can keep at least one, slightly squinted, bloodshot eyeball on it! Gary
There was a great Volvo P-1800 build that got closed on the HAMB, and the builder was told to move it to Dogfight. Just joined in hopes of the P-1800 build continuing over there. HAMB, Ford Barn and now Dogfight, The37Kid, Roadster62 and Swede1800 think they are great sites!
Has Dogfight gone away? I was looking for some information about a late-model project I'm contemplating, but it appears the website is down.
