PS I've been to all but 2 of the Des Moines events and most of the other GG events and Des Moines is the best of all. Shade, food, cars people- it doesn't get much better.

 

I'm glad he finally got some rubber on that car!! He was rolling the skinnies over to the letters.

Great Pictures ,,!!!! love All of em ,,i'm originally from Des Moines ,,but live now way down in So Missouri ,,there wasn't shows like that when i lived up there in the '70's & '80's ,,wish i coulds went to this one ,,

 

Kirk, I looked for you out there on Sat. but never did see you. Lots of people there. Awesome venue. I was impressed. My wife has family there in that region and we were there for the 4th. Thanks for thje pics.( left my camera back at the house). Love to drive to that event when the 34 is done. Cool *** place with great cars. Thanks. Maybe I'll see you at B-ville with that new car of yours. I won't make the Hotrod-A-Rama this year. Dale

I am replying to this so my picture comes up again in this thread.

The car did very well that weekend. I think I was like the 3rd fastest car there and only ran 1.3 seconds behind the street machine winner. The car was stuck and very predictable....almost easy to drive. The only cone I hit was when KIRK! went for a ride with me.....so I am blaming that one on him.

 

Sorry about that. I guess I wasn't paying attention to my navigator duties.
