First off I am sorry I don't have any pictures YET. But I was in Cotulla, TX for work and was at one of our oilfield yardsfor the company I work for and right next door I see some old racing stuff. I saw a 55 Chevy 2dr post that was heavily sectioned sitting out in th open. I talked to one of the guys who worked there and he said wait and look at this other one. He walked me out in the weeds and showed me a different 55 chevy 2 dr post that was heavily chopped, sectioned and slammed. It had shaved handles, some kind of different frenched tailights, a custom grill, and custom vents in the hood. That is all I could tell from where it sat. from what I hear the car has been sitting there since the 70s. Next time I go down there I will be prepared and snap some shots of this wierd looking thing.
I go down there every couple of weeks. I was just down there for work. I didn't plan on needing a camera. I am working on getting pics and I am not sure of the adress but I will get it and post it later today.. Also along the way right outside of I believe Three Rivers was a lot with a few old 30s model pickups. Nothing square except for one 34/35 i think Chevrolet one ton. Left had side leaving Three Rivers going towards Tilden.
I was goofing about the address. You know so I can go down there and get it before you do? I'd like to see the car. Just because I'd like to see it, no other reason. Pretty cool to find old stuff, they're still out there that's for sure.
Post the address here, and the cars won't be there next time you go. Not that there's anything wrong with that .........
I am going to post the adress when I get it. I personally am not interested in the car. I would love to see one of you guys on here end up with it. I am into earlier stuff for the most parts.
Oddly enough, I only want to see pictures. I can hardly make time to get across Wisconsin for parts so a trip to Texas is definitely not an option for me at this time. . Kael
