Scored this over the weekend....rough, but it will make a good beater.1939 International cab, 1940 Dodge doghouse, chevy S-10 frame. Plans are for a small block, radiator mounted in the bed, and drive the wheels off of it! Any ideas or suggestions? Does anyone know of any build threads for running a radiator in the bed?
I don't want to sink a bunch of money into it, so it will be a low budget build.

  2. Why not put the radiator on the core support where it belongs?

It is set up on a S-10 frame, the water pump will be up into the grill shell. Just thought it would be different to run the radiator back there, since the body is channeled so far over the frame, the kick up in the back pretty much eats up the rest of the space in the bed.

how bout you unchannel it and set the body right and get a lowering kit for the s10 frame and then the radiator should fit were it belongs

  9. He is emulating a racecar from the days of old, with no radiator; it's an illusion. Why do it on a pickup truck?
