    It's rolling again!!!!

Try the body on for size, back needs to be dropped a bit more.

My attempt at a mini tub, a little filler is O.K. right?

Getting ready to fit the motor mounts, figured out quick that I need to stop the motor from moving around while i'm underneath movine the tail shaft. It would help to have more than one person. I'm going to fab a bar with adjusters for the front of the motor today. I't would nice to get the mounts welded in today, thats my goal anyway!

    Have a good Sunday, Shaun.

Thats a 55 56 or 57 CHEVY panel. It does look good at this point. And using that late model chevy motor is different instead of the normal SBC. Keith

  4. It's a '55 Chevy 3100 panel, I took a 2003 345hp HEMI motor out of a wreck. You won't see too many of those running around [IMG]

I was just looking at that last pic thinking "that thing got a hemi?" you need a sticker on the firewall that says "Yep, it's a HEMI" [IMG]

OOP's, my bad. I got a glare on this puter screen, it's hard to tell. Sorry about that. I still like those fords though, lol. I found one years ago in the auto locater that had all the body work done and was lowerd for $1500, I'm still kicking myself for that. Yeah you don't see many of those late model Hemi's yet, that'll be bad ass. later shawn

  8. Hey Rocket Sled, why are you letting that panel sit around in peices? Do you have another project going?
I sure would like to see more panel pics. Shaun.

Well it's one of those things where I started the project about 8 years agoe, dove into it a little more than i should have, ran out of money, Got married, had a kid, you know the drill. I'll post some pics sometime. it's not much to look at. Just a big empty rusty can. I am planning this summer to pull it out, clean all the surface rust off and coat it in primer and probibly shove it back into the corner. I do have a bunch of projects now including my 61 falcon, my wife's 49 Plymouth, and my daughter's Pedal car [IMG] so it'll be a while before I get back to it. Sorry for the post Hijack [IMG]
