Your aesthetics are fabulous! I LOVE the flow of the body lines on that build! I can't wait to see posts of the final finish on that fastback! Good Luck!
Hows this car coming along? Any updates. It is with out a doubt my favorite hamb car to date. EvilKazeevil
That's one sweet ride! I've been working on a 52 Fleetline for about 2 years. I'll be coming up on doing a chop on mine here in the next couple months and your pictures are really going to help me out. Can't wait to see the finished product!!
I can't get enough of this post, had to go back and fish it out again. I've said it already but this car is amazing....
Saw pics of the your 49' fastie at the GNRS. Great work! I turned down a chance at owning one of these. Now I'm with deep regrets. Thanks for building this beautiful Kustom. Looking forward to more updates.
Brian looking forward to some more updates. Got any??? Thanks again for the firewall. Everytime I look at it I smile. Later, Billy
definately a piece of work... i wanted one before i got my 49 truck, still do, but after seeing this mine would just be a sad comparison
Your car looks great. I hope to see it someday. It takes me back. My friend, Robert Wright chopped a 49 Olds over twenty years ago. He p***ed away before the car was finished. The car was sold to another friend who also p***ed away before it was finished. It was sold again. This time it left town and I haven't seen it since. I don't have any good pictures of it. I took some while it was sitting in the paint booth shortly before it left town. Great job on yours. Thanks for the update & the memories! - Terry
Thanks guys...here's the last update I did a while back: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=235486 The car's on hiatus for the time being while I get some other stuff done and the owner takes a breather. As far as I know it's still slated to come back for some more work in the not so distant future.
this is easily one of the most inspiring picture sequences i've seen. really nice work! that car is gonna kill when it's done. hope to see more of it as it progresses.
ive been following this build for a long time..this is one the most hands on car that i have seen..love it dude keep up the good work
Man what a piece of art! I've been hanging onto a 49 pontiac fastback for years trying to work up the courage to chop it. I got to say this gives me the inspiration to do it. Thanks for the trunk secret. *****in' Job!!
B*** said in another thread that the owner lost interest and looks the same as it left his shop I believe. I would love to see this one finished though, it's incredible.
