The Ford 'A' Speed Technology (F.A.S.T.) Club will be running a hill climb in an area adjacent to the airport in Vancouver, B.C. on Saturday, July 31st. If you a vintage 4 cylinder engine powered car consider coming by to make a run of the hill and see how fast you can do it. There's no requirement to be registered for the MAFCA International Convention being held in Vancouver but you do have to be a member of FAST. You don't have to be a card carrying member of FAST to spectate. Those that aren't members of FAST can join by filling out an application and handing over $25.00 US for US and Canadian folks. Interested parties from other parts of the planet have to fork over $30 US which entitled them to a years worth of the FAST magazine along with the okay to run the hill assuming your 'gow job' passes the safety inspection.
Time trials, i.e. practice run begin at 8:30 AM so get there a little earlier to find a good spot in the pits and get a chance to check out the competition.
Should be a good time whether you're running the hill or watching from the sidelines.

Wished I could Bob. Unfortunately I'll be on the other side of the country on July 31st. I've been to a few FAST hill climbs and they are a blast. They got to me and I'm now collecting parts to build a car that among other things will be used for hill climbing. Hope to see you on a hill sometime in the future.
