After seeing the chrome 97s,I just had to get some!Man are these things sweet!!!Anyone thinking of getting some should do it-they are simply awesome!!
The plan is to complete the rolling chassis-then put it aside and concentrate on the bodywork.Hoping to have it all done sometime mid next year-its the A tudor in my avatar by the way!! Planning on doing the body in Kandy Rootbeer,with pearl white trim-tuck,n,roll-or maybe some diamond pleat??????
I really like the colors and the chrome carbs are the cherries on top! Nice color contrast with all the metallic theme. Chassis looks awesome also, can't wait to see the finshed product!
Pretty sumbitch! Before the nostalgia craze, I wanted to get a chrome 97 to match the one that I had. I called the California rebuilder to ask about prices. He said no rebuild without a core. I said I have 2 cores but 1 is chromed. He said Oh I have plenty of chrome ones. It's the originals that I can't find any more for the restorers. So I sent him my 2 and got back 2 chromed ones. How times have changed.
