three deuces

    i just aquired a wiend 3 two barrel intake with 3 rodchester 2 jet carbs. its got the progressive linkage and nice hard lines plumbed in. this stuff has been sitting in a guys shop for a few yrs, so i know the carbs need a going through. i would like to hear the ups and downs of running this setup. it will be on my 283. thanks fellas.

    They run great,just make sure the end carbs close all the way.

    Here's a short page of info that you need if you are doing rebuild:

    It tells how the end carbs are different (if they are not, you don't have a tripower that you will be happy with). Your end carbs can be converted, but you need to know how that is done.

    I ran one on my 33 chevy for a couple years and had no problems,very reliable..

    i'm not an expert, but i think the two end carbs dont have an idle circuit. At least they dont have the adjusting screws. OH YEA, THANKS FOR THAT WEBSITE.
