What happened to my Lincoln.

At least give them credit that it looks like a decent chop with actual gl*** and vent windows, etc

 

So , whats a baby lincoln ? maybe a merc ? a twin spinner ? just qureus .

 

It's a '49 to '51 Lincoln based on the Mercury but bigger from the firewall forward. Something like 5 inches longer and has a 337 cu/in big block flathead. The bigger Lincoln is the Cosmopolitan.
Noticeable by it's one piece windscreen.

 

I liked it before, but with shiny paint added, with flames gone, I'd like it more now.

 

I live in Fort Pierce an attend the "Gweeds Gangsters" car show all the time. you ever show that Lincoln before you sold it? I too dig the "before" look as well.

Busted Knuckles,if you wanting a replacment there is one sitting on hwy.50 in Brooksville,Fla,its been there for a long time,they have had it at the swapmeets a few times and nobody wants it so you might be able to pick it up cheap.PM me and I can tell you exactly where its at.

 

Friend of mine bought that same Baby-Lincoln at last week.At saturday he called me and asked do i want to take a spin with his linc?

He's been talking several years about buying baby-linc',so he finally did it.
He even let me drive it,pretty cool way to end this season for riding bikes and cars.
It's supposed to rain snow at the end of this week,so i guess its game over for us for a while..
