It won’t be long and everyone close by will know what is in there and what comes and goes. Secure it well. Insure it as well and get to know your neighbors and form a neighborhood watch. I shared a unit with a couple friends once. The biggest problem I had was when I needed my car out I had to call someone to move theirs first. Looks like your pickup is the only driver at this time. Looks like fun and a great way to spend quality time with your family.
NICE!!! I'd love to have a space like that. One thing you'll need to do is expand that workbench.........
I appreciate your advice! I have pretty much made freinds with the neighors and well I put locks on the doors, but you just never know do you! I figure I have a huge chunck of investment in that shop...so that is why I am tossing around the idea of living there...just a thought!
Can I quote Archie Bunker? "Shaddup Youse" Just kiddin...I plan on wrapping the bench around the wall! Thanks Dude!
The place looks great. I live in NYC and I rent space east of the city about 40 mins. I'm paying almost as much for my shop as I am for rent on my apartment. If I could live there I'd do it in a heart beat. I say shack up at the shop. You'll get more work done and people will know not to mess with your stuff. Whatever you decide good luck and have fun with it.
Nice shop, great cars. Do one thing that could save your life, get rid of or cover witn sheet rock that foam insulation board.29 years A firefighter tells me that stuff will burn like mad and create smoke that will kill you faster than you can run from the building. Do it NOW.
congratulations on the cool shop space and all the cool projects , hope you post build pictures to , guy who used to do welding at the plant i work at had an old welder like that he swore by , had it a long time
Nice shop! I'd tell your dad that he better go out of town for more than a couple of days or the Henry J's getting jacked up!
sweet! congrats! hey do you have enough light in there? if not consider painting the block wall white, it will reflect more light! just food for thought. and that cinderella kustom is sweet!!!!!!
Looks like a nice setup you have. If I might, I'd like to offer a suggestion. Before you get to settled in, paint all surfaces as bright a gloss white as possible. Looks like the lighting needs a bit of help. I don't know about you but, my old eyes really like a very bright shop. Something to think about. Congrats on the new digs.
