I am trying to buy parts online to peice together a project. I cant find any pictures of stock f1's in the specific places i need pics of. Wondering if anyone with a stock f1 1948-52 can send me pics of how there master cyclinder is set up, and brake pedal is set up? i just want to make sure im buying the right parts, and that im able to peice it back together right. thank you.
I dont want to spend the 20 bucks on the book, just to see a few pictures of how the brake pedal and master cylinder is hooked up and what brackets are used.. so anyone with a stock f1 willing to post pics, thanks.
No brackets that I know of.. the master cylinder mounts to the back of the transmission crossmember and the brake pedal mounts to the front of the same, they even use the same 3 bolts. Look at a picture of the Frame, brake cylinder and pedal ***embly and it's pretty clear.
I took these two picts of my 1946 pickup clutch / brake ***embly before I sold everything. Maybe they will help? Looks like the rod that goes into the master cylinder is gone though.
Don't know if this will show what you need but here is a pic of F-1 pedals and the outer end of the F-1 crossmenber installed with a dual m/c in a model A frame.
