OK - My 31' Project is making some progress. I don't plan on keeping the car this way but I do want to get it on the road this year and I thought this might work until I can decide how I want to finish it. Let me kow what you think! Also, to all you photoshop guys, set me up with a new wheel tire combo but the same rake! Thanks[IMG]

I made some oak panels for the floor. The top will remain open. The dash and stained roof wood was by the PO. [IMG]

Jesus that thing is cool. Exactally what I want someday. I agree though that the rims need to go.

Thanks Kerry. I think I am going for a surf thing. Open top! Maybe an old wood longboard on the top (I need some shade! LOL) The wood is really only for looks. The car's subframe sits on an 1/8" aluminum plate that mates it to the 32' Frame.

No problem. The wheels are not horrible. Just a little too modern for it I think. what are your plans for seats, etc...

I just mounted the seat I had last night. Mid bench seat out of a Caravan. I put it on a oak wood base and made it so it tips forward. No rear seat this year, I'll have a battery and a gas tank where the back seat should go!

I am at nearly the same stage on my 31 Tudor as you. I bought it as a project with fake ETIIIs and too much rake. It's a project started some time back.

I am gonna replace them with steel wheels shortly: 15" in front, 16" in the rear. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with black steel wheels and make it look more like a traditional rod, than street rod. Fortunately the only billet is the steering wheel. Hello eBay.

You've got a nice project there; keep us up to date.

Nice, 2X4. I like your ride. I am still up in the air on running full fenders or not. I am going to ride the car for the next couple of seasons until I can decide for sure. I really like a few of the full fendered traditional sedans I have seen out there

No fenders. I know people will say it is done to death, but to me it says hot rod. Fenders say street rod which reminds me of the billit riddled show cars. Just my opinion. I have seen some cool ones with fenders.

I hear ya, I got a billet steering wheel and rims with mine too. Ebay or save for later project. Hell I should have went large bolt pattern on my Dodge wagon, the wheels would look sweet on it!

OK - I guess I am real lousy at taking pictures while I am working but I at lease got my ride on the road for a little cruise time. I am far from finished (is a car really ever done?) but I want pit some miles on her and see what I want to change before I finish it.
