Hi all- Tannis here- Tan-Dawg on Jockey Journal. Mostly into bikes but have a couple of car projects in the works. Here's a photo of my shop just to give you an idea: Lurked here off and on for a bit but when one of my club boys decided to build a bubble top car I dove into some research and naturally it lead me straight to the H.A.M.B.! Fritz, Plowboy, Shuten and Moriarity are my new heros! But Ed Roth is my biggest hero of all- glad I got to meet him at Bonneville in '91. I have a ton of bikes- mostly 60's unit Triumphs, a Norton and a couple of modern Trumps and some early 70's Hondas. The truck is a '49 Chevy- I sectioned it 3" (through the hood) and will chop it- been a long term project- it will be a traditionally styled Kustom. Born in raised in So Cal- hence all my influences... been in Michigan 13 years. Been a motorhead my whole life. Machinist professionally and fabricator as a hobby/side job. Great resource here gang- thanks for letting me join the party!
Man best of luck on the bubble top I'm in Dearborn this week and so far I went to the Ford museum and some local low life's broke the windows out of my truck to steal a G.P.S. But lots of good guys here helped me out . welcome from Texas !!
