Here's A Special Note: To All My Friends Here At The H.A.M.B.Heading For Salina This Coming Weekend For The 30th Anniversary KKOA Leadsled Spectacular !

I know a lot of you, like myself are "regulars" who check-into Salina every year for the Leadsled Spectacular, and, there are some who will be heading out to join us for the 1st time. So I thought ALL of you would want to hear how this whole thing started to begin with !!

In this Exclusive Interview, Jerry ***us, Founder & President, discusses how & why the internationally-known Kustom Kemps Of America ***ociation began 30 years ago. It involved a meeting in Wichita, Kansas, a Cadillac Sombrero hubcap, and, 14 ******** Car Guys !

You can hear Jerry explain the whole story RIGHT NOW on the HALL OF FAME LEGENDS SERIES

Many thanks to all…I'll see you there, and don't forget to come up and say "Hi"! It's always cool seeing in person all of my H.A.M.B. friends who eMail & PM me all the time...nobody does this alone. We build, ride, and learn together, always have, always will !

GUEST INFO UPDATE: Talked to M.K. John, and for the first time in years he won't be able to be at the Leadsled next weekend.

M.K. is one of THE best R&C artists, as you well know, and has done the KKOA Leadsled Posters & Artwork for many, many years. He did about 4 different versions this year alone !

His presence will be missed, but he told me he hopes to be back with us next year for sure.

Thanks Jonnie for taking the time to talk with these folks and for sharing it with all of us. I think your interviews are interesting as well as very professionally presented. I really like that they are short snippets I can listen to between things.

Hopefully we will cross paths in Kansas this weekend.

ARTSWRK...There were a series of Merc-Deuce Reunions that went on from 1979 to 1999. Jerry put those together, but they were separate from the Leadsleds.

There were officially 5 M-D Reunions, and we had a special one at Darryl Starbird's HOF Museum in 2007. Lots of great, well-done machines at ALL of those shows...and some true "drivers" !

I talked to M.K. John the other day and he told me also that he wasn't going to be able to be there. He's a first cl*** guy and a very talented Pin stripper and artist.
