    Just made it reno taking a small break and going for atleast Salt lake tonight. I took some pictures but I can't figure out how to upload them.I t was cool took old 40 over the summit.

    Temp was 102 today...about the same till Saturday... then 94 with possible rain...can you say HUMID??? Oh well...it is summertime in Kansas...SEE YA ALL THIS WEEKEND

  10. looks like I am driveing alone:eek:

    wanted to box up inventory for sale but
    fixed the tailights on the Buick, some socket cleaning and a little head scratching to get it all back together

    then looked at the trailer and decided to add some screws where things were falling appart and drill out some broken ones:rolleyes:

    so that almost got me to quiting time and hurried and got a pallet built for tomorrow
    I pity those of you without air, last year I got me and feet roasted in 53 chev , the Duramax may burn a ton of fuel but at least will bee KOOL
    my calculator says over $400 for fuel helow cheep food:p

    Oh the temptations.......


    The reality is I just have too much to do and the car needs that new engine and some break in miles before a long trip. Besides, if it ****'s the bed on the way down I will miss the event and the Salt.......can't have that.

    Now Jay is trying to talk me into the Drags!:D

    yep , not this year bucko had to choose between kkoa and scta .... never been to bonneville, next year ill be heading your way for sure though , and ill be in colorado in october....

    So we made it to Coallvile Utah last night (east ofselt lake city) and I get up this morning.click on tht TV the Weather chanel is talking about rain out that way. That might **** a little I have no side gl*** or wipers. O well that's why they made rainx.

    We decided to stay going east to try to miss the rain. It worked out good we are In ogallala Nebraska. So we make it to Witchata tomarrow

    Scott, glad to hear you made it safe. We were gonna try to make the trip as well but waited to late and airfare was ridiculous. Hope you have a great time.

    I took a lot of pictures on the road but can't post them from my phone. I will try to post them later. We didn t have any snags on the way out. Latter to day we are going to drive up to salina from Mcpails shop.it should be a good time.

    OK now its Salina KS to Sacto were getting on the road after an awsome weekend of fun cars and hard work chopping a car for the second year in a row in this ****ty *** heat!
