Going to the HAMB's, but without car

I was asked again, this time at the LSRU this past weekend, if we were coming to the HAMB Drags and bring the GizzleHopper again or the newest creation, the Edsel powered car? Sadly, I had to tell the guy we would most likely not bring either of the cars

 

That is a bummer!
I always look forward to seeing the car there.

Well, why not? You guys had one of the coolest cars there last year!

 

Well, unemployment has something to do with it, but not everything. We may still be talked into it. I love that event. Ryan has really created a great thing here with the JJ, the HAMB, the drags and everything else. NHRA could learn something.

Okay guys, we are now back tracking on the "not bringing the GizzleHopper" to the HAMB's. Looks like we will be there.

I am working on a three car nitro cacklfest for Friday night at the motel. Ryan says to "bring em on" so we are trying. If it all works out we will have The GizzleHopper, the Scorion V and the newly completed Rat Patrol. All from Texas.

unfortunately, the suicide king won't be there, but bill plans on bring the henry j, and sez he'll run about 25% for us...

 

So, are you making some full p***es in the Gizzle on Saturday??? Hope to see it where the rubber meets the pavement!! That will be really cool!!!

 

He hasn't ever made a p*** other than a walking roll/stroll down the 1320.
I'd be real surprised if he decided to truly hammer it down the quarter mile in my life time.
It's a 'show' car, nothing else.
