    In all of my looking the standard motor for the XL package is the 390 4bbl. My non-XL 63 Sportsroof came to me with a 352 2bbl.

    Damn you dont see that very often, original '63-'4 Galaxies without the bumpers rotted all to hell. Super nice find!!!

    '63 bumpers are usually ok.
    The '64s are the ones that rot out all the time. There was a sheet metal panel behind them that would catch dirt, debris, moisture, etc. and rust them out from the backside.

    Very nice! Gives me a little motivation to get going on my own boxtop. (Mine's a 62 that was likely painted with a broom.) I looked at your car and immediately said Nice bumpers! Wish my front was in that kind of shape. What are your plans for it? C'mon. I know you've got some...
     
  7. If anyone is interested I know where 2-3 60-62's are sitting outside in Southern NJ about 30 minutes from Atlantic City... some of them are currently black.
