Hot Rods finally got my roadser pickup back from paint and body !

    well it's been a long time since i posted any progress pics but today after being overbudget i went and picked up my rpu from the body shop ! still alot of wet sanding and polishing left to do but you get the idea ! engine is detailed out and ready to drop in ! wire wheels and engine will be red ! should all work nicely together i hope !

    I have seen the red, white, and blue combo on a drag quad. I didnt like the idea at first but it ended up looking awesome. The red wheels will pull it together nicely, great looking build!

    Nice paint! And I think you should leave the new wheel/tire combo as is.

    just depends ? zz shop in madrid did this one for me they're great guys and do good work but they definitely got in my pocket on this one , my other stuff i have done about 15 miles down the road in luther at a guys shop he does good work and is amazingly affordable , my 55 f 100 is there now! also have a friend in iowa falls who owns a body shop , he actually painted the engine for me !

    One hell of a choice in truck and Motor!!!!..beautiful paint too..Once again One hell of a choice my friend!!!!..Bet you cant wait for the first flight in this beauty...

    yes every bit including polishing the bellhousing ! theres a thread on the motor

    yeah needed the clearence for the roller rockers , my friend machined them for me ! plus i like the plain look of the cheepy steel valve covers

    LOVE the motor... it's gorgeous. The RPU looks good in that blue too.

    couple pics of the tailgate ! milled and chromed the straps ! painted the raised ford lettering white to match the fire wall and grill insert !

    Wow, that REALLY looks awesome! You are getting really close. The motor is going to look great sitting down in there.

    This is a fun time in a project, seeing everything come to life.
