Well allmost done with the engine, just need help with the throttle linkage and a kick down. I have a 1950 chevy with a 250 staight 6 and a turbo 350, running a cable linkage (lokar pedal and link) but cant figure out how to run linkages.also running a one barrel carb thank for all your help.PS NOT RUNNING THE CARB PICTURED BUT IT IS SIMILER
Call around to your junk yards for a nova around 70 to 74 with a six cyl and 350 turbo, especially the 74 as they will have the brackets mounted on the intake manifold for the lokar throttle cable and the TV cable, it will be an easy deal then. See that round rod looking lump behind the carb on the manifold, thats where the two brackets bolt to. Another tip is to run an HEI distributer as it will give you better cruising power, and Langdon's has a good two barrel carb reasonable. If you ever get interested in A/C or any other tips, I have what you need for a 250. By the way, that eng and trans combo ran a 3:08 rear so it will be a nice set up.
Here are some knew updated photos(with the carb im using), and thanks for the last two posts just want as much feedback as i can get thanks
See that black hole below the carb on the square part of the manifold, that is supposed to have a rod sticking out where the direction changer linkage mounts. You still need to go to a junk yard and look up a nova and you will see what I mean. Good luck
