Picked up my new front suspension parts, sorted through them, played golf, came home and looked at the parts again, took em out of the boxes and ****tered over the floor. Tomorrow, go to the welding shop and get my bottle filled. Looks like the 47 will be on all fours some time this week. Jim

Nothing much good.......car wise My wife had a long HoneyDoo list. All my friends were in Cherokee or at the beach so I was stuck at home..... 1) a new storm window 2) a few new window gl***....plus caulking them in 3) a new light fixture for the back door 4) power wash the sidewalk 5) haul two loads of junk off to the dump 6) wash the two everyday rides....... We did drive the 32 Roadster out to the Fish Camp and eat supper tonight. It was 80+ and nice just after dark. .
[ QUOTE ] Detroit is just 3 months away... [/ QUOTE ] It isn't even that long a trip in a horse and buggy from Central Ohio!
I wedged some wood in the doors of the mustang to keep the p***inger's door gl*** up. Same thing with the driver's side quarter window gl***. I'm not gonna mess with any regulators until spring! Besides, I think I have an idea on using volvo power window units instead of the stock junk...
I did little stuff to my 54. I mostly finished a seat for my stars 'n' stripes minibike. And I tried to talk Mrs. fatluckys into letting me buy another car. Still workin' on that one...
Saturday I picked up a 51 F-1 frame. It's complete except for brakes and already painted really nice gloss black. I got a box complete with tailgate and fenders, it's a little rough but easily fixable. I paid 500.00 for the hole package. Not a great deal but not to bad. Best wishes to all of you in California. Flip
My sister had a baby on friday so I had to drive 400 miles to her house. Spent the weekend there (minneapolis). Just got back. Im an uncle again!!!!!!!!!!! Briggs
Started tuning up the 33' for the drags. Had a small leak in the radiator, fixed that. Tightened up some stuff. Found that annoying rattle, 5/8 socket in the door. Fixed the brake light switch. Tried to get carb #3 goin, no luck...I'll be calling Charlie Price tomorrow. Hung out with Barnett for about 10 minutes. TAught my daughter (2 years old) a wicked Ricky Ricardo impression "Babahloooooooh". Dang, didn't realize I was that busy. BTW, love your web site. How far are you from Bornemouth (sp?)? I get over there a few times a year. We should get together and drink a warm beer or two.
Well, I did a little on a chopper bicycle I'm making. It's what I am learning to weld on. But my buddies tube bender stopped working so I have to wait to make the next part. Spent saturday cutting up the donor car into bite size pieces. Did a lot of other non car stuff.
Annual Hallween party friday night. Finally got a ***le for my truck on Saturday, time to start spending some serious money, need to buy a front suspension setup.
Blocked sanded my T body, till Tmans boss showed up ( was in the state picking up some of our vintage tin ) spent the next 6 hours telling each other lies.
I didn't really get anything done that I wanted to but I guess it was pretty productive weekend. I finally figured out what was wrong with the "Pro Built" mill in a friends Stude. I guess we'll snag that ****** out and build him another. Dropped the gas tank in the Galaxie and cleaned it out (hopefully the last time) and built a NASCAR style pickup for it. And switched out my cheap electric fuel pump for good (new) mechanical. Hopefully I'll get a chance to work on the F-Truck this week. Well I guess if it don't make ay dirty it aint yours
Friday - Found my 46 gl*** was delivered, took a while to open and fondle it. Went to mall with GF, almost walked into Hulk Hogan. Saturday - Got some culture, all the museums in St. Pete were free. Sunday - Dug out the Christmas stuff and all that entails, scrubbed the FL green mold off the Burro, looks great, glad I painted it with boat hull paint 4 years ago. Found my set of 13" Port-O-Walls, gonna install them tonight along with some Corvair wire wheel covers for it, kinda fits the look. Pics later this week.

FRIDAY: Closed on our brand new house at around 6:00 and then went over there and handed out candy to the kiddies. We didn't have anything in the house except the Model A, two lawn chairs, a small TV and a candy bowl! Pretty cool! SATURDAY: Moved the '37 over to the house along with a bunch of boxes of JUNK. Gotta throw most of that **** away SUNDAY: Went and picked up a Model A coupe body, late 30s front axle with bones, 2 rear fenders and a bunch of springs. I can't wait to start on this one!

[ QUOTE ] Got laid [/ QUOTE ] Oh, Denise! Well...I can't say much. Except, Oh Denise! Guess I could say that I did that with my woman too, but that's not what these guys should hear! I'm reporting you to Ryan for being O/T!
Ahhhh, not a real lot. Put a set of real wire wheels on a car I built for a friend, including a small spacer on the front ones. Cut up some wood to make a sign for the front of my garage, with my crest on it. Got the Aztec ready for it's trip back down to Florida next week. Started putting in the 'big' back window in the Kopper Kart, after chopping it last weekend. OOOOPS, did I say that....hey, y'all, keep that under your hat, OK?
Got my first flames laid out and painted - then I went camping - now if I can just get something similar on the other side! Boones - way to go - looks good - where did you put all the stuff?????????
I broke stuff and fixed stuff that I broke... went to change out an axle seal in my 5 window..got it all apart and found that there was NO seal in there... No wonder it leaked. Never buy a gay car... Spike
