Wow! Awesome package! Going to check the piggy:(

  17. i guess i should add that i'ld be ready to step up and buy any lil items that might not get used ...rear window garnish...door handles and guides...***uming that it will be done up as a drag car again...

also if the winner cuts the roof out ....it is a very hard to come by part for anyone wanting to build a street drivin topo....took me over a 1 1/2 to find a replacement for mine.....

if this would have happened 2 years ago before i bought my shell, ya'll wouldn't want to know what my bid would have been;)....40 years of wanting a topolino:eek:.........

definitely a great package here for someone..........probable Hamb first??

Bob, I'd brag on ya but your head would just get bigger. Kudos to all who have added to the package. Mamas out of work and the garage is full but someone is going to get a great start on a killer car.

I just caught this 'lil package , I'll throw in a steering column , quick release if reqd.into the mix. I am tempted to bid but too much schit going on at the moment. BTW that is a Fiat 500 body not a Topolino, Hard Roof very Rare, & Early.

Way to go Bob , Yawl a Good Guy .

OK, here's the deal. If the winner puts a proper Rip Snortin V8 in it and can get it to me in So Cal, I will build and design a set of race car headers for it here at The Original Doug's Headers!

RYAN PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IAM WRONG HERE.

I think this is where we are at

    - Steel body Fiat and shell
    - Nostalgic frame inclueded
    - Lifetime HAMB drag racing registration
    - Free storage until it's picked up
    - $100.00 worth of shop supplies
    - A 5ft custom banner of the car and a picture
    - Custom white coveralls
    - A steering column.

Just like it's already been said ... What a great group to hang out with
and what a unique prize to win on.

    Larry

  23. yes this is a very very rare fiat!!!!!!!!!!mine is also a hardtop factory car....how many hardtops can ya count in this factory ***embly line?????

topolino assembly line, taken 1947 LIFE mag.jpg

wonder if Bob has looked for the er "vin"????mine is stamped into the front side to side section under the front of the right louver.....and yes this is what qualifies as the "vin"....

a propperly aquired ***le for this body.....then you're talking serious value.......should be 5 numbers,,or 6...it looks clean enough for them to still be ledgeable....mine are...and i have a 1938 fiat...with the propper paper work......

it should start with something along the lines of........36###, 37***...
basicly the number is a year behind the actual year it was built......

I got a hemi to drop in it but no cash to bring it home. I'd hate to have to kick Mark's tiny little *** with it...

Quite a deal for a real steel authentic rare Fiat!..... and with all the stuff listed......
As Bob stated.... If it were not for the Hamb...We would have not met and made so many great friendships.

The bidding isn't even close to what this little car is worth. Add on all the extra goodies, you don't come across this kind of a deal every day. Good luck to all bidders.Let's keep it going:)

I firmly believe that this could only happen HERE. Just when you think it couldn't get any better someone steps up and takes it to a whole new level. Can't wait to see where this one ends and the build begins. I've got too many projects already or i would have my hat in the ring. These little cars make awesome racers and this on deserves some BIG horsepower.

  30. yeah the tin is worth more then what it is up to..easy....being a hardtop kicks it a bunch....and the extra goodies......rockers and the lower tail section are available as repops too....

it will be interesting to see what becomes of it after it is won:rolleyes:
