I think you'll also find that the original Bendix system would bring as much if not more than the Chevy stuff.

    zbuickman,
Sorry for the late response but I've been busy with other things.
Drivability will be good and will learn and get better.
It can be either open loop or closed loop idle.
    It does operate an IAC.
Wide Open Throttle is always open loop, but learns from that operating point for next time.
It learns with an oxygen sensor.
    We prefer narrow band sensor.
One can not change injector size once it is factory set. It has to be sent back to factory or parameters changed by e-mail.
Hope this anwers all your ??s

  4. DZ- Don't know how much you are spending but you can still get Hilborn injection for your car (OK just checked the cost and it is WAY up there, but if you really want it :D). It is a mechanical fuel injection so no electronic goo-gaws. They make them for a bunch of engine choices and can probably also custom for others. http://www.hilborninjection.com/category.asp?Id=4
Vintage BMWs had mechanical fuel injectors too and they are as reliable as you can want, similar to the Hilborn setup, and they were late 60s tech.

did you ever do the efi on your desoto? I'd love to see it I live in the ATL area as well. I'm trying to build a blown 291 desoto and am kicking the idea of multiple Throttle bodies instead of carbs if I can get the right look and have any $ after building the engine and all the blower parts necessary.
