    my favorite BBQ joint is Ole Hickory pit bbq at 6106 shepherdsville rd louisville ky .great bbq and better desserts..Its probably fifteen minutes from hullabaloo..
    Louisville Slugger museum downtown pretty cool ...

  4. The Shakers village/town/complex/farm, worth the stop. Good place for a lunch, with the original recipes used.

    If you want to see how insignificant we all are in this little speck of time we exist in go to Cumberland Falls State Park and check out the falls and how it was formed ,it's cool

    Haha......very true.....I left out the "honk so many times" so that they will know you.....I have heard a handful of stories from my pop's, who is down in your area via Kansas.......and he calls me every now and then telling me some VERY interesting stories.....the locals are finally starting to let him know where the stashed tin is at after living down there for 10 years and going to the "flea market" a couple of times a week.

    thanks to everyone who took the time out to give me suggestions.............
    we had a great time at hullabulou.we saw steppenwolf and govt mule.
    we ate at moby dicks,labamba's "had a burritto as big as our heads"lol
    mark's feed bbq and of course had some krispy kream doghnuts
    has anyone ever seen the SMILING IRISHMAN'S CAR LOT ? it was on a back road and set up like a car lot right out of 1950.LOADED and i mean LOADED with cars from 1950's. we saw a primered 49-50 merc on the steet . also saw the giant baseball bat,some of the big queen style boats. ate at steak and shake.......
    i will try to get some pics up soon.
    we even caught a classic car auction ... hows that for 2 1/2 days.
    if you guys ever come to nj i can set you up the same way .
