31st ETOWN OLD TIME DRAGS & FCR

July 25th, Raceway Park will hold the 31st Old Time Drags and the 9th annual Funny Car Reunion....! We'll have a busy day as we plan on racing four supercharged hot rods! We'll have the Boss Hydro 1933 Willys, the K.S. Pittman 1933 Willys driven by Mike Hall and the Big Time Memories 1941 Willys driven by Ken Hall along with Fred Bear's steel 1940 Willys coupe running in the AA/GS match race...! http://www.funnycarreunionatetown.com/aags/index.html

 

We'll also be defending our 2009 Funny car Reunion championship as we compete against a dozen of the fastest and quickest nostalgia alcohol funny cars!

The East Coast Nostalgia Superstockers will be running an 8 car match race at this event again this year..
I'll be there with my Ex- Eddie Hildebrandt N/SS 63' Galaxie..we were runner-up last year and won it two years previous(when it didn't rain out!)..
Noted Author Charles Morris ( Total Performers:Ford drag racing in the 1960's and Factory Lightweights, two awesome books!)will be on hand to do a book signing..

Pretty much the same here. We raced at the very first one! This is hands down the BEST nostalgia race on the east coast! I look forward to being a part once again. Hope you get the Ford out there! Good luck and be safe!

I was also at the first one. I have videos of you and your Willys from the very early eighties.
Ran my '37 Chevy there from '81 to '96. Still have it, just haven't raced it lately.

This is shaping up to be one of the best events ever. Dragsters, funny cars, gassers, superstockers and NITRO...! The man behind the scenes ....Walter Fry has done a great job of bringing this all together!

 

I hate to hear that Bobby's deal won't be there. I hope they adjust the payout structure next year to make it attractive for the quality nostalgia funny cars to show. Rossety's cars are the PERFECT example of the way a nostalgia funny car should look. I can't wait to see the finished Frantic ford.....
