Well...I went to the Syracuse deal last minute..on the fence and decided to go on Thursday very glad I did....I had a ton O fun!. That joint is HUGE.....The grounds are m***ive and well groomed..... lots of stuff for everyone. Saw lots of old friends, made some new ones and missed A lot of people. Saw lots of Hambers cars... My highlight was getting the Diamond picked by my pal Chuck Vranas, for Streetrodder's top 10 pick..... Chuck is the BOSS Super sweet guy and a talent Gigantor!! His intensity and P***ion for what he does is only overpowered by his immense talent. He shot and chose a bunch of hambers cars....Paul's KILLER AV-8 banger roadster... seeing this rig up close is a visual treat. 54 chev's superb custom..... pure EYE CANDY... with mirror deep black paint, and superior stance.... Quiet Casey Cornell and his no nonsense ball busting Y-block sedan....This car had it all! I was really happy to meet Joey Lockwood.....and his metal rat fink.... Joe....we will be in touch....your sweet black pickup is just STELLAR!!! Chuck took me on a date on turn 2 and we had a ball..... he shot the truck and i shot him ha hahahah Despite the cloud bursts and the very hot weather.....I had not been out for a while from the dank studio and it was a much needed soul reviver..... Some fun pics!!!!!
This is Fabrice Monceaux killer A 348 powered Roadsta...... he is quite the talent..hailing from Montreal.....

Chuck looking for U.F.O's....... what a handsome fella........ e.t...... call home hahahahahahah ha ha ha
Speaking of turn 2..... here is a little history on the track............ there are some real gems in the NorthEast....... Over the years, the Empire Expo Center has been expanded, buildings and grounds have been rejuvenated and revitalized, the race track was lengthened to a full mile oval for the 1901 Fair, and the Fair has continued to grow. In more recent years, buildings designed for summer use only have been winterized to accommodate the sometimes daunting winter climate of Central New York. Auto racing and motorcycle racing came to the Fair following the turn of the century, when such renowned names as Barney Oldfield and Ralph DePalma and Wilbur Shaw brought their speedy autos to town to race around the dirt track oval at breathtaking speeds approaching 60 miles per hour. The "air age" came to the Fair in 1905, in the form of a dirigible full of (probably highly flammable) gas which navigated between the buildings at the Expo Center and up to heights of a reported 600 feet. And in 1910, J.A.D. McCurdy flew his Curtiss bi-plane three times around the area 200 feet above the ground. Through the years, auto racing has been a staple at the New York State Fair, from the Indianapolis-style racing that featured most of the biggest stars on that circuit half a century ago, to the present day stock car racing.

Hey Jeff, Chuck just sent me this link. Haven't had a moment to check out the HAMB. It sure was great meeting you last weekend. Your truck caused my pants to shrink a size every time you fired it up. Killer hot rod. I'd be happy to take you for a ride in my roadster as long as you take me for a ride in your truck. You're right, Chuck is the man. He does a great job showing the world that the Northeast has some great hot rods and great people. Looking forward to meeting up sometime down the road. Paul
Thanks Danny. My wife and I may be in your neck of the woods late October. My roadster wants to take a road trip thru SC. Paul
CHEVY54, Damn straight, nice chop/stance. You where killn it in the Fairgrounds, then i see you pulled over under walking bridge. Looks even better on the road, ENJOY
chuck is definitly a great guy its always a pleasure to see him stop by the shop. I hope he approves of my truck when its done.
Jeff meeting up with you was a great BONUS for me . Your truck is way better in person than in pics. You and your friend are some real talent MoFo's I can not wait to meet up with you guys again. Thanks for the comments about both tmy art work and my little truck. Coming from someone like yourself lets me feel great. I just finished off two pieces that I had rush shipped to Salina, KS one for the HAMB Merc guys/gals and the other is a personal piece for Bill Hines to show my appreciation to him for allowing me to create the trophy I did for the 2009 Billetproof show in Florida. I got to hangout with Jeff and the Rolling Bones on the weekend. They are all super down to earth and wicked friendly. however they seem to drick a lotttttttttttt of beer. Actually that's all they eat or drink is beer, which makes for some great stories. Jeff's truck is even more awesome live then in the pictures, and when he starts it, wow, It gave me a chubby. Great pics at the show. Jeff you should think of getting into art of some kind, you seem to have an eye for it.
