Jeffrey, first, congratulations on becoming a father, Memphis will fill your life with new and amazing experiences. Second, here's a prayer for Memphis and for you and your wife. I know it's hard to see him in a position where you as parents don't seem to be able to do anything to help - just being with him, loving him is a tremendous contribution right now. Just know that he knows you're there and that you love him - that bond starts, I think, before those little one's even come into this world.

Thanks everyone. It means a lot.

He's all settled in to the ICU right now and just getting ready for a bunch of different tests and such. He's also on 3 antibiotics and his fever is down a bit for now. Just waiting on when we can see him next and how he's responding to the treatment. He's pretty tuff and his mom is too so I think he's going to give the infection a real ass whooping with the help from his friends the antibiotics. Just need to trust in the doctors and god that he's got a long healthy life ahead of him.

May God Guide the hands and minds of those who treat him. Also May God pass his hand of protetction over your son and give you and yourr wife the strength to overcome his ordeal..

I don't pray, but I will keep a good thought! Hope all turns out well, and I'm sure it will. My sister in law over in Hong Kong gave birth the same day as your wife, after almost 48 hours of labor. We got the bad stuff out of the way last week...

 

Hang in there Jeffery, Memphis will pull through I'm sure. Keep the faith brother! Fatherhood can be scary at times, I understand your concern. Prayers sent for quick recovery and blessings for the family!
