two new ones 53 olds

    looked at these 2 a week or 2 ago man needed to sell them he was moving and had to get rid of them they hadn't been moved in 7 years used to belong to his dad. Most parts are there just stored in one box or the other going to do the conv first then the hardtop. What do you think stock or custom Im thinking mild custom. on both hope you enjoy RED

    Just me? I'd do the hardtop custom for sure. The conv I would do stock body and trim at least, hopefully the stock motor too. Convs of that age look slick stock

    I think you should keep the conv. more stock and go wild on the hardtop. But that is just my 2 cents. They are your cars have fun and build them the way you want.

    I love how everyone's saying to leave the conv stock and that looks to be the roughest one of the two. Go mild kustom on that one and save yourself a bunch of time rather then try to take it back to stock. Go full blown Kustom on the hardtop.

    thanks for all the suggestions I am thinking along the same lines as most of you I love the conv . Panhead the elco is in for metal repair they dipped the truck and got about 60% back we have everything that is made for a 59 Elco and I will fab all the rest. Don't get to do much hamb friendly stuff mostly muscle car and alot of odd ball stuff. later RED
     
  11. Love the ****. Post more pics as the builds proceed. I know it is a lot of work and we are all busy, but it is great for us to kiew,
    I agree with most to keep the "Rag Top" stock and tarditional mild custom on the HT. However I would go with all the modern ch***is updates to make it a very drivable car by todays standards.
